Cultivate Kent Street
Cultivate is located on the ground floor of Westpac’s Sydney headquarters at 275 Kent Street (next to Sussex Lane). It is open to the public every day except Wednesday to purchase fresh produce and take part in various events. 2 Mini Bench Planters and 6 Urban Gardens were specified, with produce used at Cultivate events, and by various culinary partners of the space from the Sydney CBD.
Verandah Café at Collins Street Baptist
For close to a decade, Collins Street Baptist has hosted the Verandah Cafe, serving great coffee, and a place of welcome, rest and conversation. For Verandah, 3 Glowpear Café Planters and 6 Urban Gardens were specified to create a tranquil city garden with a mix of edible and decorative plants in the heart pof bustling Melbourne.
Lotus Dining at Barangaroo
Lotus Dining is the creation of Sydney culinary innovator Michael Jiang. Michael dreamed of owning restaurants that conjured childhood food memories born of his Chinese heritage. The marriage of cooking excellence and creativity led to Lotus Dumpling Bar, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sydney. 3 Glowpear Café Planters were specified for a "mixology kitchen garden" at Lotus Barangaroo, consisting of chillis, shiso, lemongrass and Vietnamese mint to provide garnishes for exotic cocktails.
Jimmy Grants Eastland
Jimmy Grants is the brainchild of the celebrity chef, George Calombaris, serving real Greek street food. 40 Glowpear Urban Gardens were specified to create 'Mediterranean food mecca' at Jimmy Grants Eastland, consisting of hedges of mint, thyme and tarragon that match Jimmy cuisine.
Wayside Chapel Bondi
The Wayside Chapel Bondi has a kitchen garden is in full view of a kitchen and café which are used to provide meals to Wayside community members. A pair of Glowpear Urban Gardens help assist in cultivating organic produce to be used at both Wayside Chapel cafés, as well as featuring in local restaurants like Billy Kwong in Potts Point.
Tamarama Food Deck
This impressive Tamarama residence is set into a cliff face, over the Pacific Ocean. The owners are culinary event stalwarts, so 6 Glowpear Cafe Planters were specified to provide commercial quality and volumes of fresh produce, as well as mobile flexibility for entertaining.
