Valley Hops Brewing
Valley Hops Brewing is a rooftop brewery above Cloudland in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. The team brews independent beer crafted with character. Designed by Kim Burns at Jumble and Stack, the space is a mix of micro brewery and eatery which required a green overhaul.
Mount Claremont Poolside
This private poolside mixes sophistication and functionality into entertaining and green spaces. A large lawn and sandpit provide various spaces for the children, whilst the NewTech wood cladding, slat/ glass pool fencing, and exotic Garonne stone incorporate modern finishes into incredible pool and entertaining areas.
Perth Courtyard
This Perth residence boasts an open entertaining area. The owners wanted to be able to pick fresh produce on demand when hosting guests, whilst also keeping to the clean, slick design aesthetic. Hence 6 Glowpear Mini Walls were specified which consisted of combinations of staple herbs and to decoratively break up the wall space, stay compact, as well as provide abundant produce for outdoor dinner parties.
Docklands Rooftop
STEM Landscape Architecture created an urban escape in this modern Docklands apartment. An upstairs a balcony garden provides a place to unwind and entertain. Native daisies and coastal plants like Correa alba thrive in the exposed and harsh conditions. Hence 6 Urban Gardens were specified to match the climate requirements due to Glowpear’s water saving technology, as well as a sleek, modern aesthetic.
Halo on Mount
Halo on Mount is a nine-level residence featuring 21 apartments, two exclusive penthouses and a café on the Perth’s doorstep. Halo interiors are a thoughtful appointment of timeless finishes and materials reflecting a style consistent with the quality of the building and its occupants. 25 Urban Gardens were specified to match the sleek, modern interiors, and to align to the sustainability principles of the development with Glowpear’s water saving technology.
Camilla Residences
Camilla, the new face of inner-city living. Camilla offers a Perth lifestyle most could only dream about. The carefully considered interiors include timeless finishes, high quality materials and clever innovations for the privileged few who will get to call Camilla home. Hence 25 Glowpear Urban Gardens were specified to match the sleek, modern interiors.
Cultivate Kent Street
Cultivate is located on the ground floor of Westpac’s Sydney headquarters at 275 Kent Street (next to Sussex Lane). It is open to the public every day except Wednesday to purchase fresh produce and take part in various events. 2 Mini Bench Planters and 6 Urban Gardens were specified, with produce used at Cultivate events, and by various culinary partners of the space from the Sydney CBD.
Verandah Café at Collins Street Baptist
For close to a decade, Collins Street Baptist has hosted the Verandah Cafe, serving great coffee, and a place of welcome, rest and conversation. For Verandah, 3 Glowpear Café Planters and 6 Urban Gardens were specified to create a tranquil city garden with a mix of edible and decorative plants in the heart pof bustling Melbourne.
Lotus Dining at Barangaroo
Lotus Dining is the creation of Sydney culinary innovator Michael Jiang. Michael dreamed of owning restaurants that conjured childhood food memories born of his Chinese heritage. The marriage of cooking excellence and creativity led to Lotus Dumpling Bar, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sydney. 3 Glowpear Café Planters were specified for a "mixology kitchen garden" at Lotus Barangaroo, consisting of chillis, shiso, lemongrass and Vietnamese mint to provide garnishes for exotic cocktails.
